Cooking up the best careers

The challenge

To rebrand and launch the SSP UK careers site in order to appeal to their wide variety of UK target audiences, generate online applications and reflect the hard working, fun, family feel of SSP the food travel experts ahead of the first of several recruitment fairs and initiatives.

Our response

In depth client discussions led to the development of new, vibrant and dynamic, food and people oriented visuals alongside a “The Best Since…” theme reflecting SSP’s employee value proposition of “I am the expert”. 

Messaging was tailored to each level of staff employment from team member/shop floor roles through to the various management levels and support groups using subtly differing colour palettes and imagery to reflect this.

A new website was built using Expression Engine and giving SSP full access to a CMS in order to manage their own content and campaigns. The site also integrated seamlessly with SSPs third party recruitment/testing portal allowing it to be branded in the new SSP Careers style and thus creating a more fluid user journey between the two sites.

An html email inviting graduates to visit SSP at the Olympia recruitment fair as well as new funky, design and engagement pieces for the SSP stand were created. Various printed support collateral was designed and produced to reflect the new site and engage grads face to face before getting them to sign up online.

Feedback has been universally well received so for SSP we are the experts!
